F. Co Spotlight: Magill
Founded in 2017, Magill Los Angeles has already taken the menswear industry by storm with their modern take on classic pieces. What initially caught our attention at Felding Co was Magill’s commitment to making their products the right way: they design, source, and produce all of their own products in Los Angeles and New Jersey while using locally sourced makers and suppliers whenever they are able. As Magill puts it, their goal is to create “Slow Fashion” that is transparent about where products are made and who is making those products. This commitment is what makes their products unmatched in terms of quality.
Todd Magill himself is a big part of what makes Magill a breath of fresh air in the menswear industry. Taking his experience working for JACK Spade, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and Anthropologie, among others, Todd Magill has set out to create his own line of items that pay homage to classic styles while providing much needed updates. As a recent startup, Felding Co appreciates the boldness and confidence it takes to leave something comfortable in order to fulfill a dream and fill a need. Bringing Magill to Felding Co. was a natural fit.
Magill makes clothing that is meant for wear, not disposal, and that looks damn good while you’re wearing it. Once you see the little details that have gone into Magill’s Hockney and Keaton Rugby shirts, you’ll understand why Felding Co. is proud to bring Magill Los Angeles to Knoxville, Tennessee.
