Standard Belt: Tanner Goods
The term standard conjures up various images; one image is that of durability, of steadfastness. Tanner Goods is the company behind the belts at Felding Co and it’s clear that they have made just that with this product: the Standard. It is aptly named and even a brief review of the product reveals both the craftsmanship and artistry that has gone into this belt.
Felding Co is carrying three options, in terms of leather and hardware: cognac with copper, black with black, natural with black. While the leathers differ, each belt is consists of edges that are died, burnished, and waxed by hand. The natural leather option has the most potential for unique patina patterns and will darken over time and use. This belt is built to last, cut from 10-11 ounce tooling leather and sporting a 1.5 inch width. The belt is going to get noticed without being overly flashy, which tends to be true of anything which sets the Standard.
